It’s time to celebrate the future of cocktail technology as high-tech tools are shaking things up behind the bars.
Talking about all things high-tech, House of Angostura has added an insightful new tech tool to the mixology landscape, for first-timers and experts alike, they have launched the House of Angostura Cocktail App.
This app features over eighty tried and tested cocktail recipes, featured drink trends, bartending tips and you are even able to search for cocktails by ingredient and save a list of your favourite recipes to revisit.
For the most part, you'll find that the typical mixologist only relies on a few tried and tested tools to devise their artistic makings and for the rest, they use age-old methods that have stood the test of time.

Some places are using Augmented Reality Apps to 'bring their cocktails to life' but this is still a growing trend.”
Owen O’Reilly is a mixologist and the owner of SIP Exclusives and says he's tried the app but not as much as he would like too.
“The app works well. I like the imagery and the recipes- they’re good and current, and there is a nice variety. It is a great referral tool and also helps with inspiration when you’re stuck, and I have learnt a lot about the history of Angostura, as well as about their products- particularly those not available in the country.
